- 21st Century switched to Toggle without warning.
- Auto-pay charges posted under Toggle with no notice, leaving customers unsure what Toggle is.
I was with 21st century for over 20 year. When they switch everyone over to Toggle insurance with no warning.
21st century did not send out a letter with their letterhead letting their loyal customer that there auto insurance was changing to toggle some unknown name. If you were on auto-pay they start taking your money under toggle. When my husband sees the charges he thought it was fraud and contacted the bank. The bank did a fraud case and Toggle of course forgot to fill out the paper stating that they are associated with 21st century.
Or they could have picked up a phone and call there very loyal customer what was happening or sent a certified letter explains who they are. When I did final get a cancelation of insurance letter and call customer service they said she'll maybe you should not of filed a fraud case. I ask why I was not notified, and they said we send you a letter from toggle. I said we'll who in the *** is toggle I probably thought it was junk mail.
They said I could start a new policy with them, but my rate will be higher since it would be a new policy. I said I do not trust your company and I would not give them a dime.

You make me wait for service by putting me on hold for 45 minutes. That is really bad for business when Im trying to give you money. It makes me want to find another company and tell other people to find another company for insurance.

- Called at least 10 times and waited one to two hours with no live person ever.
Cannot get a live person to answer. Have tried 8 times, various times and days.
Minimum holds I have stayed on was 45 minutes up to 2 1/2 hours.
Still no one EVER answers. Yet they say there is a 20 minute wait!!!
Am I 21st Crntury or Farmers or Toggle. No on answers at any of these places to give me an answer.
I have called at least 10 times and waited one to two hours every time and no live person ever!!!

- Customer reports on-hold times over an hour for two years.
- Cannot reach anyone to add a car to the policy and a BBB complaint was filed.
For about two years now, regardless of when I call, it takes over an hour on hold to get a response if I get one at all. I'm so frustrated, I want to change companies, but I can't even get ahold of anyone to do that, so I'm stuck with a horrible company with no plans to improve.
I'm wanting to add a car to my policy and two days in a row I've been on hold for over an hour. Decent companies at least allow you to leave your contact information and call you back, but 21st century/toggle doesn't. This is brutal!!! SO FRUSTRATED.
About a year ago, I reported them to the BBB, but obviously nothing has changed. SOMEONE FROM 21ST CENTURY, PLEASE CALL ME!!!

Customer service terrible
- Toggle policy changed without notice.
- Payment taken on the 12th last month.
- Today a payment attempt failed; I received a pay-or-cancel email.
They changed our policy to Toggle without notice. Our parents are due on the 13th of each month.
Toogle took our payment in the 12th last month in January.
I think they tried to take a payment today and I didnt have enough funds. Now I get an email from Toggle to pay or get canceled. Weve had 21 century for many years. I tried calling and gave up after an hour on hold.
Very disappointed. They have really gone down on their customer service and customer care for that Matter.
I always make sure to have funds on the date payments are due and not before.

I've been a 20th-21st Century Auto insurance customer for decades [since they started]. Got switched to Toggle.
[Stupid name, eh?] So my payment has always been on the 28th, every six months. I made sure it was still set up with my Amex after they became Toggle. So on the 27th they attempted to take out a little more that the amount due. Amex [heaven love them] contacted me because it was an unusual purchase, asking if this charge was valid.
I said "no" because the amount wasn't correct. For 5 days I've spent hours on hold waiting for a rep. I've tried on line chat. Same result.
I also tried making a payment - even the wrong amount - only because, technically I'm driving without insurance. It won't let me make a payment.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Am switching insurance companies after 50 years .
